Introducing Kent’s event planner

A wealth of event planning experience

Need the assistance of an event planner? Kent based Andrew Salter has the expertise to plan, co-ordinate and create an event that you’ll always remember – in the Kent, London and Sussex areas.

Throughout my career, I have built up a wealth of experience in planning and co-ordinating corporate and leisure events. This stems from 17 years of experience in General Management for four and five star hotels: planning conferences and exhibitions, product launches, charity events, birthday and anniversary celebrations, tutored wine tasting dinners, weddings, and family receptions and wakes – to name but a few.

During this time, I have developed strong relationships with the best suppliers in the industry – so that we can deliver the highest level of service and product quality throughout your event journey.

A history of event excellence

As a respected event planner in Kent, London and Sussex, I have built up a reputation that provides customers with absolute confidence when choosing my services for corporate hospitality and event management. This is, in part, down to my strong standards of service and dedication to detail.

Over the years I have worked with teams that have won the AA Courtesy & Care award, and led a luxury hotel in Sussex – which was recognised as the best performing business out of its portfolio. I have also had extensive experience pairing wines with food, and have gained a vast culinary knowledge from working with award-winning chefs – giving you extra peace of mind if you require guidance when choosing your company or event menu.

Andrew Salter: Event Planner

I have chosen my name as my brand because from start to finish you will only work with me. Every event should be a unique experience and I am always open to new ideas, encouraging flexibility and creativity when planning and co-ordinating your bespoke or luxury event.

From large corporate hospitality to smaller private functions, I will be delighted to assist you in any way I can to make the whole experience memorable, within budget and worry free – get in touch today.

Commitment to the Lord's Taverners Charity

Over the past 15 years I have worked closely with high profile charity The Lord's Taverners, as part of their West Kent Region. This great charity supports cricket development at grass roots level and raises money for disabled children ¬– giving them a chance to enjoy sports. 2010 will be the charity’s 21st anniversary and will see a fantastic Diamond Jubilee celebration.

If you’d like to support or be connected to this wonderful charity, please do email me and I’ll be happy to forward further details to you. Thank you.

Commitment to the environment

With each decision I make, I will always look at ways in reducing my carbon footprint. Whether that’s through reducing my utility charges, or managing my fuel costs more efficiently.

As a local event planner, Kent’s environment is important to me, as are the areas of London and Sussex that I cover. Consequently, all suppliers and staff that work for me are responsible for protecting the environment they work in, as well as the surrounding grounds. We achieve this by:

  • Using e-mail instead of letters, saving paper and ink cartridges. If I do communicate by letter, then I will always use recycled paper.
  • Requesting internet banking as a preferred method of payment, rather than using cheques or credit card receipts.
  • Using the most efficient low energy bulbs in my office and working environment.
  • Taking advantage of state of the art systems when communicating with suppliers and clients i.e. Skype, reducing carbon emissions.
  • Observing rules and regulations aimed at protecting the environment.
  • Disposing of waste through recycling.

I will continually look at ways of reducing my carbon footprint by identifying new initiatives to conform to the ever increasing legislative changes, providing a positive effect on climate change and the environment.

As Chairman of the West Kent Region for the Lord's Taverners, I am happy to announce...

It is with much pleasure that I can tell you about my editorial highlight within SO Tunbridge Wells magazine

Great Testimonial from a very happy bride and groom !!

As we are now firmly into the Autumn season, careful choice of seasonal ingrediants will allow you to create a menu that is full of flavour and typical for the time of year. Remember big flavours matched by full bodied wines will create a day to be remembered for all your guests!
